Anne Ditzler

Coach | Facilitator | Consultant

Change happens.

Whether you’re slogging through a hard season or anticipating a new and exciting one, I help you learn from your experience, ask what’s coming into being, and grow into your future.

Find a new perspective.

Most people start by asking,
“What’s wrong and how do we fix it?”

But this problem-solving focus
can be too narrow,
limiting your thinking
and draining your energy.

My approach asks what’s working and guides you to build upon success and strengths - even in challenging situations. This focus expands curiosity and heightens imagination.

You gain the confidence and momentum to bring about the change you want.

Tailored to your needs.

Coaching

I help individuals find the best version of themselves. We use narrative and metaphor to shift perspective and obtain clarity. You set goals in a soul-satisfying way to live more joyfully.

Retreats and workshops

In these immersive experiences, participants learn from the best of their past and apply their wisdom to the future. We begin with a personal consult so that I can craft the event to serve each person’s needs.
Events feature a learning component, guided processes, and time for reflection and integration.

Facilitation and consulting

I work with teams, groups, and entire organizations to help them reframe challenges, build on their strengths, and create positive change in their daily work. We co-create the agenda to engage stakeholders in a way that is stimulating, hopeful, and actionable.

What clients have to say…

  • “The retreat gave me a different framework in which to consider my current situation. Now I have a sense that everything I need is within me - I just need to tap into my intuition, knowledge, and relationships to navigate my way forward with gusto.”

    – E.M., health management consultant

  • “Anne is positive, gentle and encouraging throughout this process. The seminar helped me crystallize what matters most to me, and helped me determine ‘next steps’ to keep my life on track.”

    – J.S., nonprofit operations manager

  • “I really enjoyed the virtual retreat and I came away with much more than I anticipated. It has reinvigorated my commitment to caring for myself and working towards what I want next.”

    – T.W., nonprofit executive director

  • “Several weeks after the retreat, I retain a lasting sense of being ‘up for the tasks’ at hand with more confidence, keeping my goals in mind, being more proactive, celebrating every small success, and keeping a reasonable momentum going. The retreat activities were like keys to help open my heart/soul, improving my teaching and generating more fun for our community gardening groups.”

    – B.L., retired teacher, master gardener

  • “Loved it!! I didn't think so much change was possible in such a short time. Having to create an image of the future forced me to think in a new way. It revealed the existing frameworks in my approach to my work, helping me identify what was nourishing and exciting (and what I wanted less of). This gave me the energy and focus to go after the kind of work I most enjoy doing. ”

    – E.M., editor and consultant

  • "I thought the retreat was great!! It helped me to see my job so clearly, and that clarity was really freeing. I have much less anger about my job now. I am clear what I get out of it, and given that I will be there a few more years, I am carving out things I want to do to make those years pleasant. I feel a lot less anxious about everything. And that's huge!!"

    – R.T., university professor

  • “Using an appreciative lens gave me a completely new perspective, one I had never used before. It’s a more productive perspective compared to a problem-solving lens. And I am a problem solver – so this is and will be a shift for me, but a helpful one.”

    – C.P., parent

  • “I absolutely loved this approach – especially the idea that identifying past success builds confidence for future change. It's like the opposite of regret. What a positive way to learn from the past!”

    – E.L.S., educator, singer

  • “It was such a good experience and Anne is a fantastic presence and facilitator. Because Anne so clearly explained the purpose and method of what we were doing, I was able to step into full participation.”

    - J.H.,educator, anti-racist activist
